Hiraki plays aggressive, progressive noise-rock from the abyss.
Frothing from the mouth HIRAKI sings, screams and recites their way through lyrics about Kafkaesque individualism, proletarian narcissism and narrow minded upperclass-modernism – Nothing less!
The musical inspiration pulls threads from bands like DAUGHTERS, THE LOCUST, APHEX TWIN and NINE INCH NAILS. Hiraki are adding the final touches to their sophomore album following up on their debut-album ‘MODERN GENES’. Where the debut gave you a 20 minute kick in the face of an introduction to HIRAKI’s dystopian universe, the new album is both longer and more extreme in the investigation of the band’s sound and potential.
The result is a soundscape compiled of everything from bombastic guitar surfaces, crunchy 80’s synth and blast drums – to digital hymns driven by drilling oscillators, hardcore-grooves and progressive riffs.
