Normally, we wouldn’t book the same act two years in a row. But Snapped Ankles’ set at NWB 2025 was sadly overshadowed by a string of mishaps — first, their drummer had to cancel last-minute due to sudden illness, and then, just a few bars into the first song, their trusty drum machine gave up too.

Funeral Folk is a powerful collaboration between spectral composer Maria W Horn and folk musician Sara Parkman. After having to cancel their show in 2025 due to a broken leg, we’re beyond excited to finally welcome Norwegian rock legends Motorpsycho back to the lineup.
Motorpsycho are a prolific band from Norway. Since the late 80s they have eluded classification while blending progressive/psychedelic, stoner, metal, jazz and indie influences into a sound all their own. This constant evolution has been documented through countless ambitious albums and EPs for nearly three decades. Their output is legendary and their need for experimentation has made them stand out as a rare creature.
