Das Kinn’s output is a striking collision between electronic intensity and brutalistic cityscapes. Cold, ruthless and harsh. On “Ruinenkampf”, machine-like pulses pounds under a coating of melancholic synths and contemplative sax. The result is a desperate outburst that drowns in the unstoppable grinding despair of industrial devour. The almost motorik-infused rhythm, is the concrete on which Toben Piel stand, to yell hopelessly into voids of towering neubaugebiet. When experienced first-hand, the stage becomes a construction site for meditation and a demolition site for hope and meaning. With a magnetic force the audience is drawn into one person’s fight to hold on to sanity.
